------- Additional comments from [email protected] Tue Aug 11 15:33:28 +0000 2009 ------- If you press F5 or F11 in an OOo application to show the Navigator or Stylist floating window, OOo loses focus - you have to click either into the main window or the floating window to restore focus and go on working. StarOffice has handled this in a better way: the newly opened floating window got the focus. This is what one would expect intuitively. Also it had the advantage that you could close the floating window immediately by pressing F5 or F11, respectively, again, without touching the mouse. When you work on a rather small screen or with a large-size document, it is often more practical to have the Stylist/Navigator closed and open it only when you actually need it. Losing the focus always means you have to restore it exclicitly. Judging from two easily accessible OOo versions, this is a rather long-standig issue: OOo 2.0.4 and 3.0.1 show the same behaviour (on Debian Linux and Ubuntu Linux). --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
