It seems that I can reproduce the problem with "Ooo 3.1.0 WIN XP multilingual
version German UI activated [OOO310m11 (Build 9399)]", pls. see attached
"screenshots.odg".
It's even worse using 'Position and Size' dialog to rotate exactly 90°
I am pretty sure that this is a DUP (with an other aspect) of Issue 103478
No longer visible with "Ooo Dev 3.2.0 multilingual version English UI WIN XP:
[DEV300m53 (Build 9412)]", so WFM.

Please feel free to reopen this issue if you find out that I did not reproduce
your problem and that you problem still exists with Build 9412 or later.
