------- Additional comments from [email protected] Mon Aug 17 09:57:36 +0000 2009 ------- [ didn't check myself yet ] >From http://bugs.debian.org/541975 --- snip --- Steps to reproduce: * Create a new OpenOffice.org Math document. * Select “Save As...” and specify e.g. ‘foo.odf’ as an OpenDocument Formula file. The file is saved successfully to ‘foo.odf’. * Enter the following markup in the entry area: {𝜕} over {𝜕 r} The entry area shows all the entered characters correctly (depending on the fonts installed), but the rendered document does not show the U+1D715 MATHEMATICAL ITALIC PARTIAL DIFFERENTIAL (“𝜕”) characters. * Save the document again. The file is not saved. The program responds with a modal box containing this message: Error saving the document foo: Write Error. The file could not be written. Expected behaviour: * Any markup that can be entered into the document should be saved correctly to the file, and should never cause a “Write Error”. * The error message on a “Write Error” should specify what the error is, instead of the tautological “The file could not be written”. --- snip --- --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
