The cropping gets lost in OOo 2.4 because of the latest file format changes of
ODF 1.2, there the separator of cropping values changes from white-space to
comma.
btw, OOo2.4 is only compatible to ODF version 1.1, so it is recommended to save
documents into the ODF 1.1 format if you are working with OOo 3.0 and wants your
documents to be opened without problems in OOo 2.4.
With this bugfix the OOo2.4 parser will be enhanced to load clipping whether the
clipping separator is comma or white-space, this is only a small bugfix with no
side effects. The bugfix takes place in
xmloff/source/style/XMLClipPropertyHandler.cxx
