------- Additional comments from [email protected] Thu Aug 20 09:46:45 +0000 2009 ------- @mru: what test results let you believe that " ... fix of issue 76520 is not broken in 3.x."? It seems a more detailed description is required that anyone can understand the problem I am talking about. Steps to reproduce: 1. Open "works.odt" with OOo 3.1 2. Save as MS WORD97/2000/XP "mytest310.doc" 3. Close document 4. Open "works.odt" with OOo 2.4.1 5. Save as MS WORD97/2000/XP "mytest241.doc" 6. Close document 7. Open both documents "mytest310.doc" and "mytest241.doc" with WORD (or WORD viewer as I did) and compare Table views "mytest241.doc": Table shown on document page 2 without being splitted "mytest310.doc": Table splitted on document pages 1,2 (Pls. see attached "comparescreenshots.pdf"!) So the fix from Issue 76520 definitively is broken. I see, the original report was focussed on the rechecked 'Allow table to split..' checkbox, what indeed is unavoidable because of the "trick fix" in Issue 76520 (and, as mru correctly pointed out, not a real bug). Although the original report is concerning a "non bug", during my investigations I found out that there is a real bug: The regression you find in my steps 1-7 in this comment. May be I should have better opened a new issue to avoid all this confusion :-/ Please decide whether you want to reopen this issue or reopen a new one. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
