------- Additional comments from [email protected] Fri Aug 21 12:33:07 +0000 2009 ------- Hello! Our office has a mix of Excel and OO so I'm pretty much forced to save my spreadsheets in xls format. When working on a spreadsheet and adjusting the left cell spacing, if I close and reopen the file, the settings are not retained. Steps to reproduce: - Open/create a new spreadsheet - Enter text in a few cells (vertically) - Highlight those cells, right-click and select Format Cells - Click on the Borders tab - Under 'Spacing To Contents', uncheck Syncronize - Set the left padding to 3.0pt and click OK - Save the file as XLS (97/2000/XP format) - Close the file - Reopen the file You should see that the cell padding is gone and the settings under Format Cells --> Borders --> Spacing To Contents has reverted to the defaults. This is a clean install of OO 3.1.0 on Vista Home SP2 w/ no changes to the default options after installation (eg Tools --> Options) Not exactly an earth shattering issue, more like a minor annoyance. Any light you could shed on this issue would be appreciated.
