------- Additional comments from [email protected] Mon Aug 24 21:10:26 +0000 2009 ------- NOTE: my version is OOO310m11 (build 9399) -- OOO310m9 is the latest in the above dropdown. Copied part of a .xls s/s from another user into calc. While I was working on this combined sheet, calc started an auto-save which appeared hung with the progress bar barely past the 50% point. Windows Task manager showed all open documents as "Not responding". Killed OOo and restarted. Had to restart the editing session from the beginning since nothing was saved for recovery. :( This time, as I was discussing the issue, an auto-save triggered and went to completion. So... issued a save and saw it "hang" again. This time, waited and could see the progress bar moving every so slightly. Note that this sounds very much like bug 15597 Fired up wireshark, and sure enough, calc is hitting every machine we have as part of the save (this s/s contains the machine database and has links to each). Example cell: \\FYPWS742\c$ (text) file://FYPWS742/c$ (document path) In the source s/s, this is used for quick access to a particular machine's C: drive. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
