------- Additional comments from [email protected] Thu Aug 27 21:10:37 +0000 2009 ------- System: Windows XP Professional, version 2002, service pack 2 Computer: Intel Pentium D CPU 3.40 GHz, 1.96 Gb of RAM OpenOffice 3.1 Program crashes when opening master documents. First seen when opening master documents created in 2.x, then in master documents created in 3.x. Master documents created in 3.x will open normally for a while, but after a few days will exhibit the same behavior: crashing on open. OO "recovers" the file but only opens a blank new .odt document. Reinstallation of 00 3.x does not solve the problem.
