------- Additional comments from [email protected] Mon Aug 31 06:48:29 +0000 2009 ------- Well, it does perfectly works fine if you have a "English (Canada)" dictionary installed. Thus you better install one or change the language of the text to one with an available dictionary. To see what languages are currently available for spell checking just open the Format/Character dialog and look for languages that have a tiny check mark to the left. If there is none for your preferred language you have to configure and/or download a respective dictionary extension. For example get one of these: http://extensions.services.openoffice.org/node/1335 http://extensions.services.openoffice.org/project/en_CA And you need to restart OOo after installing them (that includes to disable the quick starter). --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
