------- Additional comments from [email protected] Wed Sep 2 22:08:53 +0000 2009 ------- Caolan, I find this approach highly questionable: 1. There is no prove or indication, that the code in question is intellectual property. If this is patented, please name numbers. 2. If it's not patented, and we are just doing this to "to assure that no such immediate problems arise", what what are we going to remove next? The menus, the tabs or the scrollbars? 3. I don't think that OO needs to exactly follow the behavior of other office suites and I don't mind the dialog popping up. But if it does, it should at least work - but currently it doesn't. Example: 1. Type 'January' into A1. 2. Drag selection down to F12. The dialog will popup. 3. Select 'Date' as series type. January will be automatically inserted as start vaule. 4. Select 'Month' as time unit. 5. Hit OK and a popup with 'Invalid value' appears. 6. Even if you insert 'December' as end value, the error message appears. Who is supposed to understand this behavior? Note that it's not documented in the OO help because the help is still vanilla. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
