All the text in the particular area(like "CLICK to add title" area) is selected. The behavior described for the failed systems doesn't occur for the configuration provided below. Configuration : Platform: PC Operating System: Ubuntu 9.04, kernel 2.6.28-14-generic Open Office Impress version: OpenOffice.org 3.0.1 OOO300m15(Build:9379) Steps Taken : 1. Open Impress with an empty presentation. 2. In the "Layouts" window on the right of the screen select the Layout on which when one slides the cursor and rests for a second the following text appears "Title, Text". 3. Start typing in "Click to add Title section" or the "click to add an outline area" and after typing some words or a word go to the next line by pressing the "Enter" key. 4.
