------- Additional comments from [email protected] Thu Sep 3 19:05:43 +0000 2009 ------- Hi, It would be very nice, if this longstanding defect could be fixed, see bug 23138, bug 25341, bug 69073, bug 84802, bug 88313, etc. Currently, one has to post-process openoffice drawings for use with pdflatex. Apart from being cumbersome, both post-processing routes I know of have their problems: - pdfcrop sometimes fails. - I am not sure whether the eps - epstopdf - pdf route conserves quality. The defect should be fixed for OOo draw _and_ OOo impress, since the very useful extension OOoLatex is only available for OOo impress.
