------- Additional comments from [email protected] Wed Sep 9 19:05:15 +0000 2009 ------- When text alignment is specified as "justify", and with the language of the text explicitly set to Arabic, kashidas are inserted within the one word between disconnected letters, even though "expand single word" is disabled in the alignment options. Additionally some letter connections are broken. The attached screen-shot file justify-arabic-kashida_space-lang_ar.jpg shows this. A kashida is inserted in the second-to-last word on the second line of the title (الإنترنت). Breakage in letter connections can be seen in some words. This screen-shot is based on the attached document file justify-arabic-kashida_space-lang_ar.odt. I don't know if the following is relevant, but in a situation similar to what is described above; if the language of the text is set to something other than Arabic instead (or none), then in addition to the behaviour described above kashidas are also inserted in spaces between words as per bug #60594. See attached screen-shot file justify-arabic-kashida_space-lang_none.jpg, and attached document file justify-arabic-kashida_space-lang_none.odt. probably related bugs: #60594 and #28203 --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
