------- Additional comments from [email protected] Fri Sep 11 16:06:33 +0000 2009 ------- During the OpenOffice.org upgrade install from 3.1 to 3.1.1 on Windows XP, ten dialog boxes appear, reporting Internal Error 2908, followed by one dialog box, reporting Error 1935. What I did to try to get around the problem: - ran the installer file again - downloaded and ran the installer file again - deleted the registry key AD95649F068525549B26938D7D18FEA7 per advice in the OO.o forums - looked for (but did not find) MSCOREE.DLL in WINDOWS\SYSTEM32 per advice in the OO.o forums (there was one in WINDOWS\ServicePackFiles\i386, and a MSCOREE.TLB in WINDOWS\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v2.0.50727, but I did not fool with those) The URL reported with this issue links to a PNG image of all the error dialog boxes.
