------- Additional comments from [email protected] Sun Sep 13 02:17:56 +0000 2009 ------- Niravkumar Patel 09/12/2009 I am successfully able to replicate it on windows XP System Configuration: HP Pavilion Microsoft Windows XP Home edition version 2002 Service pack 2 Intel(R) Celeron(R)M 1.60 GHZ 504 MB RAM Open Office version: OOo-dev 3.2x (codeline DEV300) Steps to replicate 1.Open the presentation 2.In ‘Slide Show’menu option select the ‘Slide Show Settings..’ option 3.In the ‘Options’ area of the Slide Show dialog, check the ‘Mouse pointer as pen’ option 4.Start presentation 5.Try to draw something It was easy to observe that there exhists no option to change the pen color in steps 3 or 4 or eraser in step 4. There are three items that would improve the presentation pen feature in Impress. 1.Pen color is green by default and cannot be changed. On certain backgrounds, it is difficult to see the green drawn line, such as a black background. 2.There does not exist the option to erase a drawn line in some cases when you want to erase the draw line then the user has to start over in that case and time will be wasted and user satisfaction is affected. 3.There does not exist the option to draw a highlight on a slide in presentation mode. The above three items are exhibited behaviors of the ‘presentation pen’ in the Microsoft PowerPoint product.
