------- Additional comments from [email protected] Sun Sep 13 11:12:19 +0000 2009 ------- in tool customise keyboard you can choose OpenOffice.org or Writer The help says „OpenOffice.org Displays shortcut keys that are common to all OpenOffice.org applications. Writer Displays shortcut keys for the current OpenOffice.org application.“ But this is not true - if you apply a shortcut in writer to another function than in OpenOffice.org, it is no longer common to all applications!!! And this happens without any warning. That's bad! I defined shortcuts for OpenOffice.org (becaus I want to have them in Writer AND Calc). Then I wondered, because it didn't take effect. I found out, that by default in writer these shortcuts were applied to other functions and my changes for OpenOffice.org unfortunately didn't overwrite these defaults. If there at least would have been a warning... I think shortcuts set to OpenOffice.org should really work in all apps! If someone wants to change such in one app, the shortcut must not be no longer shown in the OpenOffice.org-shortcut-list. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
