Please try to find out what makes your system so different (WM, special system
features which would block the load of the document...).
Test what happens with other files (.ods, .odg) after having removed their
extension. That would be then a Framework issue.
Anyway when reporting *here* you have test and check that the issue happens in
our version: "I use Debian testing. I would not want to use anything from
another source" doesn't hold.
Untill you have found out what makes the glitch on your system with the native
version, closing as "worksforme".
