------- Additional comments from [email protected] Tue Sep 22 10:51:19 +0000 2009 ------- I shared a file made in Excel 2007 with a friend, Rob Vlaardingerbroek. The Cell had as validation rule Whole numbers between 0 and 1. When opened in OO the rule had been changed to between 0 and 0. I am currently running Windwos 7 RC, Build 7100. Rob was running Vista Home Basic, Build 6002 with SP 2 and found the same error in both version 2 and 3 of OO. To recreate issue: 1. start Excel 2007 with an empty file. Activate a Cell. 2. Click on "Data" 3. Click on "Data validation" 4. Under "Settings" allow use "Whole number" 5. Data set to "Between" 6. Set Minimum to 0 7. Set Maximum to 1 8. Enter 1 in cell 9. Save 10. Open the Calc program in OO. 11. Open the file just saved in Excel 2007 12. Change the value in the Cell form 1 to 0, no error 13. Change the value in the Cell back to 1. Error about invalid value. 14. Click Cancel on error 15. Select Data in the menu and check the validation rules for the cell. It appears as 0 in both field for minimum and maximum. Rob tried to open the excel file with OO under Linux and it did not reproduce the error. I can provide a file or screen shots if needed.
