@cgu: Fixed in CWS presfixes03. Unfortunately, this is a rather ad-hoc fix, as
the proper cure would get somewhat more involved (see issue 47472 as a
followup). The main problem is now fixed for me, although I encounter infrequent
blinks of the first few characters (most often, the bullet character). This is
currently unavoidable.
