 Hi Caolan -yes - it is necessary; the gtk-file-selector's combo box - due to a
mis-design, will not allow you to view/enter a file eg. /tmp/noext and specify a
type such as CSV. It looks broken, which is what it is :-) It shouldn't & can't
remove the standard drop-down.

Federico is looking at fixing it I guess - but it'll need some new custom API to
do this in future to do it compatibly I guess.

what crash do you get on run ? not seeing that here :-)
