------- Additional comments from [email protected] Sat Oct 3 20:43:26 +0000 2009 ------- It was found that when creating a table of dimensions 70 x 30 in an empty Impress slide the table took approximate 4 minutes to display. This gets worse the larger the table; a table of 70 x 100 seems to leave Impress in a non-responsive state for over 10 minutes. While these values may not represent a typical user entry value it’s still a valid value that can be entered by the user either on purpose or accidentally that seems to make Impress unresponsive for a significant period of time. Note: generating a table with 100 rows is possible using the table toolbox GUI (Table Icon on tool bar) at a screen resolution of 1600 x 1200. Configuration: Mac OS X (10.6.1) OO 3.2 DEV300m60 (Build: 9425) 1. Launch Open Office 2. Create an empty Impress (Presentation) 3. Generate a table of 70 columns and 30 rows 4.
