I solved the problem by deleting the problem TEMPLATES folder.
I noticed that TEMPLATES folder uses a shortcut icon. See
installation_folder.jpg. When I tried to open it I got some kind "you are not
allowed" message. I tried a couple of other things, can't remember what, maybe
tried to EXPLORE the folder. Anyway I got another error message. Something
like "unable to resolve folder location." After checking that the folder
properties to make sure the size of the contents was zero, I deleted the folder.
What caused the problem is still a mystery.
