------- Additional comments from [email protected] Thu Oct 8 09:32:50 +0000 2009 ------- If one looks for "Presentation Wizard" in the issue tracker, it is clear that many people have reported that they find it difficult to use this dialog. Not all of the issues state the same problem exactly, but it is certain that there are problems with this dialog from a usability point of view. Changing the text from "Create" to "Open" when the 3 option "Open existing Presentation" is selected would help to clarify to the User that clicking that button will Open the selected presentation. "Create" is simply wrong in this case, the software doesn't "Create" the existing presentation it opens it. Detailed recommendation: 1. Whenever the option "Open existing presentation" is selected the text on the "Create" button is changed to "Open" 2. Should another option be selected. The text on the button should change back to "Create". 3. If no Presentation from the list is selected the "Open" button should be greyed out and do nothing when clicked. 4. When there is an existing presentation selected the "Open" button should be made active. I believe that making these changes will be a good step towards improving the usability of this dialog. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
