I have continuously read the forums and tried the recommended fixes to no avail.
I've tried ccleaner, revo, windows installer cleaner, user profile removal,
deleting soffice.bin etc......

Any how here is what happened i had 3.0 then i saw a notification about an
update with new features i was so excited. I downloaded and i installed the
software. At first I was experiencing a bug where the program would not start,
the profile solution fixed that bug but now im experiencing far greater crashes.

Will Crash:
- All openoffice, Selecting Page format dialog
- Impress wizard, selecting "From template" when the "Preview" option is
"checked"
- Draw, opening a older draw files especially one with lots of pictures, the
ones with basic text and boxes open fine.

But here is the real issue when i tried downgrades, upgrades and even
crossgrades(I tried 2.4.3, 3.0, 3.1, Go-oo 3.1, and even the dev snapshot
ooo320_m1) i still get the same issues.
So now even the once working 3.0 has these issues.

I assume that a file is corrupted and that openoffice will not overwrite, rather
simply reuses the corrupted. Or could it be my operating system(Vista 64 Home
Premium sp2).

I'm not a developer but I do promote open source to many individuals, I was
promoting it to a friend when a bug embarrassed my presentation.
