An ODB form displays with the zoom factor which was last set when viewing a
Writer
document, or similar (HTML document, Master document). By "last set", I mean
actively setting a zoom value.
How to reproduce:
1 Open a new or any existing Writer document (or HTML document)
2 set zoom at 50% or lower
3 you may close the unchanged Writer document, or close OpenOffice.org
4 open your favorite Odb file, then one of your forms : the form is unreadable.
Repeat steps 1 to 4, but set zoom at 100%, the form is now correct.
It means that adding the zoom facility onto forms (OOo 3.2) does not correct
the real
problem, it only gives a means to correct its consequence, and must be repeated
each
time a form is displayed.
The real problem is that the zoom factor of an Odb form depends on a previous
manipulation of a document of a different type (for the user). And this is not
user
friendly.
Until it is corrected, the interim solution is to open a Writer document and
set the
zoom factor to 100%. Not really obvious for the ordinary user...
