I recently got an error connecting to an Oracle database. The actual error was
caused by a mis-configuration on my part, but the error message came up in a
standard windows pop-up box.
These are a poor way of conveying messages (despite being the Windows standard)
because they provide no mechanism for long messages to be displayed. In my case,
I got nearly the entire file path in then an elipsis ("...") instead of the
useful part of the message!
Can a change PLEASE be made to allow all windows to be resized by the user if
required!
