When uninstalling a 3.1.1 I noticed that the AppId entries remained in the registry. Removing them manually and reinstalling OOo 3.1.1 showed that there are no AppId keys. This and is' findings indicate, that the problem exist already for quite some time and that this was not noted early because of the "unclean" uninstallation.
