------- Additional comments from [email protected] Mon Nov 2 21:43:59 +0000 2009 ------- When cells are set to their default format mode (General), it does not show more than 2 digits to the right of the decimal place. The only way to see more than 2 digits is to set the number of decimal places accordingly. The problem with this setting is that all numbers are padded to show that many decimal places. The following steps can be taken to reproduce this issue: 1. Create a new spreadsheet. 2. Enter the number "0.0126" in cell A1. 3. Enter the number "0.003" in cell A2. 4. Enter the number "1" in cell A3. At this point Cell A1 only displays "0.01" and cell A2 only displays "0". The cells should display all of the decimal places entered. 5. Select the cell range from A1 to A3. 6. Right click on the selection and choose "Format Cells" from the context menu. 7. Under "Options" increase the number of decimal places to 4 and click "OK". Now all numbers show 4 decimal places including A3. This behavior is correct; however this is the only way to see all 4 decimal places producing the undesirable effect of seeing the padding of numbers with less than 4 decimal places specified. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
