Steps to reproduce:
1) Open Writer
2) Create 2*2 table
3) Enter the date 2005-09-02
4) Tab to a different cell
5) Right-click date, change format to YYYY-MM-DD
6) Change date to illegal value, such as 2005-09-44
7) Change date to legal value, such as 2005-09-14

What happens:
The date format returns to the original date format

What I expected to happen:
The date format would stay as it was configured
