First of all a file starting with '.' symbol is a legal file name. Second, the
lock file is designed to be a hidden file.
>From my point of view not accepting a legal file name by the samba
configuration, is a bug in the configuration.
Anyway, the lock file feature in the office requires possibility to create the
hidden file. If a configuration decides not to allow using of the hidden files,
the lock file usage should be turned off in the office ( It is possible to do it
starting from OOo3.2 ).
Closing the bug as invalid ( By the way it is marked as a patch, but there is no
patch attached ).
