------- Additional comments from [email protected] Wed Nov 18 21:00:37 +0000 2009 ------- When dates are copied and pasted from one spreadsheet to another one that has a different setting for the zerodate (e.g. 12/31/1899 versus 1/1/1904), they are shifted by the difference between the zero dates. Although this is not technically a bug according to earlier Issue Tracker posts, it is a very confusing problem that affects quite a few users. (Any spreadsheet imported from Excel for Mac has a zero date of 1/1/1904.) Would it be possible to store the zero date from the source document on the clipboard with the copied data, and adjust the dates when it is pasted into a spreadsheet with a different zero date? --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
