The issue the submitter refers to has been closed as WONTFIX which actually
could have also been considered, in this case, in as INVALID.
Besides this: If a function has a bug, the bug must be fix. Switching the
default of the function off is not a fix but a hack. The default should never be
chosen in regard to the quality of the function but considering statistical
usages.
Thus this issue is invalid.
