looks good; I'll see if I can get by without redeclaring Application. In the
long run I'd like to rewrite the whole D&D / Clipboard stuff to use the same
Display as the rest of vcl does, neatly avoiding all those threading issues. Now
that is at least possible - but "in the long run" I'd like to do so many things
:-(
