ohallot: it's late now, but you can force the behavior you desire by simply
subscribing a mailing list via e-mail as follows:
Set the sender to [email protected] and send an email from
[email protected] to [email protected]
(i.e., the mailing list address, but you add "-subscribe" before the "@").
YOURALIAS, MAILINGLISTNAME and PROJECT must of course be replaced with the
actual values.
