------- Additional comments from [email protected] Mon Dec 7 20:08:50 +0000 2009 ------- I was working with a file recently, saved it, and turned off my laptop. I had several other swriter files open at the time. When i turned my laptop back on, about 10 minutes later, it did not offer the option to recover OpenOffice files, which i found strange, as it usually does. Upon checking the file, I found that I was unable to open it without a prompt of "what encoding do you wish to use?" regardless of the encoding, or what word processor (attempted wordpad and notepad) I attempted to use, it would come up as a series of # marks. Upon consulting friends, i found they, as well, had run into similar issues. This is a huge problem, as i lost some very important information. In addition to fixing this isuse, if i could be contacted with a possible way to recover my data ASAP, i would be very grateful. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
