------- Additional comments from [email protected] Fri Dec 11 17:20:28 +0000 2009 ------- We still are running OOo 2.4 because of this problem. I can see two solutions: (1) remove the leading "." from the lock file name (not under my control) (2) Remove the Samba "veto files = /.*/" directive (under my control) The former is, IMHO, the preferred solution - I see no compelling reason for the leading "." - you can make a "strange" lock file name without that. The latter option opens up the potential for SAMBA clients to delete/modify important Debian files that they should not be seeing, which is why we have decided not to go with option 2 and then upgrade to OOo 3. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
