See also http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?threadID=2228819&tstart=1 This leads to the Apple Remote doing nothing in Impress, it simply doesn't work anymore. In 10.5 or 10.6.0, the Remote works as expected. IMHO, developers are required to change parts of their code to make it work again. A work-around for the end-user is to use Candelair (works fine for me).
