We are a school district in New Jersey, USA. The equations in the attached .doc
were created using MS Word 2004 for MAC, using MathType 6.0a. MathType is
opened while in WORD, and once created, the equation is easily dropped into the
document.

If you open the attached word.doc in OOo, you will see formatting issues with
some of the symbols like the plus/minus, the arrows in the equations, and the
bullets. Yes, corrections could be made for each of the formatting issues, but
our students, nor should any user be required to do that extra step. If the
equation does not display correctly, then the equation is not correct.
