@Rene: while you are right to point my tests concerning platform and 32/64bits:
- It is a pre-condition for reporting here, that the reporter of an issue
occurring in a distro build also checks this in a vanilla version. The user or
*the engineer receiving such an issue in his distro bug tracking system*.
- Linking to other information sources (Ex: Debian bug tracker) should not be a
replacement for a detailed description: 64bits was not mentioned in the IZ
description.
Now all this is obsolete anyway because 0tim0 filed a new issue (issue 108035)
instead of reopening this one.
Thus: duplicate of issue 108035.
