------- Additional comments from [email protected] Wed Jan 6 17:35:39 +0000 2010 ------- It's done it at least five or six times since I've started using OOO. It usually occurs when I've got several docs open and am cutting and pasting between spreadsheet to word doc (using unformatted text paste special because you have to do that to copy the data usefully to any other app, even a text editor) to another app (usually TextWrangler). Yes, it is usually a reasonable sized block, but not over 1000 rows and rarely more than three or four columns. I'll try to find a way to make it happen consistently, but that could take a while. Regarding the crashes, sometimes it goes into the cpu crushing "Open Office has crashed for some reason" mode where the sw detected that it crashed and does some horrendous thing that slows the system to an unusable crawl that I've never seen before on my g4 powerbook. After minutes of that it finally gets to a recover documents screen. Other times it just goes "full beachball" and won't do anything, isn't consuming much cpu time and just needs to be "force quit." I don't recall if it has ever asked to file a crash report to OOO. If it ever offered, I'm sure I allowed it, but there's no guarantee that the report process happened successfully. Ok, I've written enough. I'll post again if/when I can get consistent crashing. I'm working in ooo today so hopefully I will have the info sooner than later. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
