------- Additional comments from [email protected] Thu Jan 7 16:18:56 +0000 2010 ------- When repeatedly trying export the problem finally generated an error message by swrite.exe when trying to begin a new export of filename.odt into a .pdf, the error saying "cannot save filename.pdf backup" even before trying to establish that or any other new pathname as the export destination. Sorry for not having included that bit in the initial description. At that stage of the symptom appearing the filename.pdf file cannot be deleted or erased by the OS, and is zero sized. Crosslink was the term was raised by the MS(D)OS file utility chkdsk /f on the volume where the error occured. That was the only way it could be removed from the FAT. I guess the unix equivalent would have been "fsck: Bad inodes link detached", if that helps explain what chkdsk meant. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
