Isn't it enough to change the line #1190 in cairo_canvashelper.cxx from
doPolyPolygonPath( xPolyPolygon, Fill, &textures );
to
doPolyPolygonPath( xPolyPolygon, Fill, false, &textures );
to fix the problem b)?
