When I insert a graphic from the scanner into Perfect Office X4 I have no problem. Cannon MP Navigator will not even initialize giving me the "Scanner driver supported by this software is not installed." window even though I have repeatedly reinstalled the CanoScan LiED 30 driver (still dated 2003)even from a site claiming Vista compatibility. Even more interesting is the fact that since installation of the latest update to Firefox 3.6 three days ago, information copied from a web page will no longer paste into a Calc cell. I must paste the information from the Firefox web page into NotePad first, then copy or cut it from NotePad so that I can paste the information into the Calc cell.
