------- Additional comments from [email protected] Fri Jan 15 10:59:11 +0000 2010 ------- I came across this while writing my thesis. Under certain circumstances, text formatting is lost in Writer when saving the document. To reproduce, do the following: - Start Writer - Type "W", RETURN, "W". You will have two text lines, each containing the character "W". - Mark the first character and click "bold". The first "W" will now be bold. - Place the cursor at the end of the document. - Hit BACKSPACE once to delete the second "W". - Hit BACKSPACE once more to delete the newline and jump into the first text line. - Note that the text line will still be bold. - Save the document, close Writer. - Open the document again. - THE BOLD FORMATTING IS LOST! This is obviously a *very* serious bug. Losing formatting (as has happened to me in my thesis) is not fun. I narrowed the bug down to the simple instructions presented above. Hope you can fix this soon! Cheers, Jovan --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
