Inserting
<C:\Dokumente und Einstellungen\Rainer\Eigene
Dateien\Ressourcen\Programme\Reglerparametrierung_und_Parametrierung\saia\Webconnect>
into the file name pane of the OOo File Save Dialog will open that directory,
inserting a file name will export the PDF pages to that directory with correct
file name.
Same with OS WIN XP file picker dialog.
All I see matches 100% with reporter's experience "Prior to 3.1.1 ..."
There might be a problem with reporter's particular installation?

path name.
