Small unix netbooks have tiny screens, therefore efficient use of screen real
estate is paramount.

Having two rows of menus always eating up space could be replaced by a more work
context sensitive approach. The menubar on the OSX version of OpenOffice.org
saves place, and it would be nice to see OpenOffice.org to support thus UI
approach, perhaps using global menu in gnome/kde.
