------- Additional comments from [email protected] Mon Jan 25 18:59:16 +0000 2010 ------- Bug successfully reproduced. Open Office version: 3.1.1 build 9420 Operating System: Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit Computer Specs: Intel Core2 Quad CPU Q6600 @2.4 GHz, 4Gb RAM, 2x NVidia GeForce 8000 SLI with 1.5 Gb Video >From what I have observed the bug occurs for Word 97/200/XP, Word 95, Word 6.0 and Rich Text Format documents. It does not occur in ODF text documents or in Star Writer. Noticed behaviour: After saving and reopening a file the size of the columns is reset to a default value. (For the test document the values are 10.98 cm (left) and 8.81 cm (right)). The difference between values for column widths as seen from Format - > Columns and those in Format -> Sections -> Options -> Columns tab are due to the fact that Format -> Columns only consider the size of the columns within the page margins and those in the Format -> Sections -> Options -> Columns tab are the values set by the user. If the margins of the page are set to very small values (0.1 cm for my test) and the column boundaries do not pass those margins then the bug does not occur. Further testing showed that this holds true for any page margins, if the column contents do not extend outside those margins they are saved properly. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
