The behaviour occurs on 3.1.1 OOO310m19 (kubuntu) and also in 3.0.1 on WindosXP. it is inconsistent. To replicate: 1. go to normal view. 2. in the slide scroller on the left, select first, then third slie etc - jump around a bit. 3. End with selecting the first slide 4. go to the slide sorter view (3 slides in a row) 5. scroll to the end 6. count to 15. It jumps. Scroll down again and again: jumping takes longer or stops. Go through the process gain, it jumps again. In real world presentations where I have a lot of images, the jumping is really bad and makes the slide sorter view unusable.
