I can't hazard a guess as to why this has started happening for you. Definitely not due to an updated OOo, as that's unchanged since September. Perhaps you've got a shared home dir and ran a different version of OOo on that one, or have recently installed an extension, or your just plain unlucky and the extension cache has gotten corrupted. Try this... shutdown OOo mkdir configbackup mv ~/.openoffice* configbackup tar cjf configbackup.tar.bz2 configbackup and restart OOo and see if it then works. If it does then attach the old config dir of configbackup.tar.bz2 to this issue.
