Description:
This issue exists in Open Office 3.3(OOo-Dev_DEV300_m70,build 9478).
I could replicate this issue in one of the three systems I tried. To Get Clear
idea about the issue it would be better if we use the "Disastrousanimation.avi"
File.You can See the Four Red Lines Where he selects all the Four Lines as a
group object(single item) and then he points to the Animation Name (Italian
Language), To the Right side ) and Then he starts the presentation. The
Presentation kinds of overlaps.I have attached the picture of this Overlapping.
Download The Attachment File (Disastrousanimation.avi).
Steps to replicate:
1. Open Impress with a new or existing presentation.
2. From the Insert menu, select Movie and Sound
3. Browse to that location where you have saved the
"Disastrousanimation.avi"
4. Click On Open After Selecting the File.
5. After the File Gets Loaded Press F5 or Click on Slideshow From
Slideshow Menu.
Follow Up Tests:
I tried to Replicate The issue(Using The Same Steps as above) in other
Systems
but I got the following Results
Windows Vista: The Format of the Selected File is not Supported.
Mac : The Screen Has Question Mark (?) and not does not play When I press
F5.
The Screen gets Blank.
Bugs such as these should be carefully observed and Fixed in the Upcoming
Version of OpenOffice because Customers would like to Use Animations,Movie and
Sound in Their Presentations.
System configurations:
Reproduced in
Windows 7, 4GB Ram , Intel Processor 2.20Ghz
Not reproduced in
Windows Vista, 4GB Ram, Intel processor 2.40GHz.
and
Mac OS, 4GB Ram , Intel Processor 2.26Ghz.
